IKEAS OFFBEAT DELIVERY
The IKEA catalogue 2011 did not arrive alone in Germany but was accompanied by a group of swedish designers, whose task it was to give one hundred German homes a free makeover. A massive campaign on TV, Print and Web invited people to contest for one of the makeovers of their kitchen, livingroom, bedroom, hall or whatever room they thought needed improvement.

After winning the SKY pitch with Munich based advertising agency Heye, the main task was to launch the pay-tv brand in germany. Working with Heye and the time in London with photographer Rankin and director James Rouse was a great experience. Some results:

Strategic brand development for a new German energy provider.
STRATEGY:
In 2007 two public utility companies decided to work together in order to establish an new form of energy suppliance. The target of the cooperation was to be kind of “Asterix” - a small and friendly provider in a market, which hitherto was dominated by only four majors suppliers. Target group are both people who search for the best offer in the market and people who want to decide for themselves. For this group the biggest encouragement to change their supplier seems to be the best persepective of self determination.

CREATE YOUR OWN DISCO
PLANETEN & BLUMEN is a night club gallery in Hamburg I launched in 2004 with some friends. The idea: Every three months we invite artists to redecorate the whole club completly. The exhibition/club which features DJs and live-acts opens every Friday at 11 pm. In 2005 the music magazines De-Bug and Groove voted Planeten & Blumen as one of the 10 best clubs in Germany. Planeten & Blumen was closed in November 2006.

I started Dioé in 2003 with some friends of mine. We invited 70 artists of whom some like Jonathan Meese, Lucy Mckenzie, Andreas Hofer, Björn Dahlem or Andre Butzer have meanwhile become widely known. In addition to the exhibition we organized partys, concerts and readings. More than 10.000 people visited Dioé during the two weeks.
